The vessel named Green Jade has been commissioned by CDWE, a joint venture between CSBC and Belgian offshore contractor DEME Offshore.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2022 for deployment in the region’s offshore wind market.

Green Jade, with a crew capacity of 160 people, is equipped to handle heavy monopiles, jackets and turbines and features a 4,000-tonne capacity crane. In addition to DP3 capability and dual fuel engines, Green Jade features a waste heat recovery system that converts heat from the exhaust gases and cooling water to electrical energy.
