MSC said to buy six boxships it mostly charters for US$158 million

SHIPBROKERS Clarksons and Allied as well as data firm VesselsValue all report that Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) has bought six postpanamax boxships controlled by Germany's Zeaborn, according to Alphaliner deal, according to Alphaliner.
The vessels are the Hyundai Samho-built (2006) 8,200-TEU ER Tianping, ER Tianshan, ER Tokyo and ER Texas along with the Hyundai Ulsan-built (2004) 7,849-TEU pair ER Vancouver and ER Yokohama.
