THE Intermodal Asia Exhibition & Seminars, a major gathering of the container logistics sector people, will be held in Shanghai on July 20-22, it has been announced.

Intermodal Asia is organised in partnership with China's leading container association, CCIA (China Container Industry Association) will the full backing of the world's largest container manufacturer, China International Marine Containers (CIMC).
Despite the devastation of the Covid year, 2020, China managed to register economic growth; the only major economy to do so - 18.3 per cent in the first quarter year on year.
Thus, China remains the perfect place to host Intermodal Asia where suppliers can offer products and solutions. Attendees already registered for the event are drawn from logistics providers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, ports and cargo owners.
"We are delighted to be hosting Intermodal Asia this year" said Intermodal Events group director Rob Fisher. "The last 12 months have been extremely challenging, but throughout the pandemic the container logistics industry has risen to the challenge and kept supply chains replenished."
Seminars are free and are convened under the theme of Smarter Logistics: Intermodal Excellence. Intermodal Asia attendees will hear directly from expert speakers face-to-face; and what's more, international speakers will join the event digitally - meaning attendees will have unparalleled access to industry leaders from across the globe.
Container volumes are fast returning to pre-pandemic levels, and shipping rates are beginning to stabilise, say organisers.
The disruption caused by the blockage of the Suez Canal in March highlighted the need for robust alternative routes between Asia and Europe. This forum brings together experts who will provide insights on emerging routes and the benefits of collaboration between international authorities, they said.
Registration is advance is highly recommended and priority access will be given to those who have pre-registered online.{非本站网址}/mp-home.html
