EU gas price swings as Russia talks of separatist recognition

RUSSIAN forces have reportedly killed five people and destroyed two Ukrainian armored personnel carriers. EU NATURAL gas prices have fluctuated after Russian President Vladimir Putin recognised the ethnic Russian separatist regions of eastern Ukraine, reports Bloomberg News.
Russia's parliament has appealed to Putin to formally recognise the Russian-supported separatist states in Eastern Ukraine, a move west officials declared would blow up the peace process there.
Cease-fire violations have risen in recent days, with President Putin stating that Ukraine won't fulfill the 20215 Minsky agreements, while Kyiv declared it isn't planning offensive operations.
