Evergreen's 24,000-TEUer biggest box ship to transit Suez

SUEZ Canal Authority chairman Osama Rabie has declared that the 24,000-TEU Ever Acme was the biggest containership to transit the new canal, reported Bangalore's Marine Insight.
The ship was on its maiden voyage on its journey from Malaysia to the Netherlands.
Following protocol Mr Rabie delegated Captains Mohamed Al-Hout and Galal Shabaka to board the Ever Acme and welcome the crew, and also deliver souvenirs for the ship's captain.
