THE Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT), an ICTSI) business unit at the Port of Rijeka, Croatia, has been added to the port rotation of CMA CGM Short Sea Lines's Bora Med service, reports London's Container Management journal.

The new service, which commenced in December, in Antalya, establishes a sustainable maritime link between Turkey, the Adriatic and the Eastern Mediterranean and replaces the intra-Mediterranean SSLMED Turkey Med Express 3 (TMX3) service.



The weekly service offers the Adriatic market an upgraded service that introduces larger ships up to 2,500 TEU and an expanded port rotation, significantly improving connectivity and transit times for regional and international shipments.
