OOCL revamps China – Indonesia coverage

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is launching a new China – Indonesia service replacing an existing service that also calls in the Philippines.

The China Indonesia Service (CIS) will replace OOCL’s existing CIP service with the addition of calls in Qinqdao, China and Port Klang, Malaysia.
Calls at the Philippines capital Manila and Hong Kong that featured on the CIP service have been dropped. The Philippines and Hong Kong will now be served by the Philippines Feeder 2 service which OOCL said was being resumed.

The first sailing of the CIS service will be on 18 April from Qingdao, while the Philippines Feeder 2 service will resume on 1 May from Hong Kong.
The CIS service will call a rotation of Qingdao - Shanghai - Ningbo - Da Chan Bay - Jakarta - Surabaya - Port Klang – Qingdao.
