Cosco, Dongfeng Motor and China Mobile promote autonomous smart port

China’s leading shipping company Cosco Shipping Group, automobile industry player Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and communication service provider China Mobile, jointly announced cooperation on an unmanned intelligent port solution development.

The three parties have established strategic cooperative partnership to promote 5G+intelligent port construction in China and will jointly develop autonomous port operation solutions.
Cosco Shipping Ports, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle and China Mobile (Shanghai) Information Communication Technology have also signed the strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai.

It is the further collaboration between the three parties since its first cooperation started in 2020 for operation of driverless container trucks for port.
