The PCN1 service was revamped by removing the port call to Prince Rupert with a new rotation of Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Long Beach and returning to Tianjin. The first sailing of the new PCN1 departed from Tianjin on October 9.

Meanwhile, OOCL said a new service Pacific China North 2 (PCN2) has been launched to provide a direct link between Prince Rupert and North China.

PCN2 port rotation: Qingdao, Shanghai, Prince Rupert and returning to Qingdao. The first sailing of PCN2 left Shanghai on October 15.

"We believe the enhancements could meet your needs with enhanced efficiency and capacity within the network," the carrier said in a statement.

OOCL also announced that its Atlantic Mediterranean Express (ATM1) service will begin calling Charleston, Wando Welch Terminal instead of Savannah, for a period of 6 weeks, starting with the sailing of the CMA-CGM La Traviata 272 W, ETA Charleston on November 27, 2021.
