WAN HAI Lines is increasing its solo Asia to US east coast service launched on June 18, reports London's Loadstar.

The route, which features ten 2,800- to 4000-TEU ships were said to be replaced by eleven 4,600- to 5,600-TEU ships on November 3.
It will also add three ports of call to the service with the rotation being Ningbo, Taipei, Xiamen, Shekou, Cai Me, Port Klang, New York, Charleston, Savannah and back to Ningbo.
In 2020, the Asia-US west coast and Asia-South America west coast lanes accounted for 21 per cent of Wan Hai's revenue.
In the first half of this year, the revenue share increased to 40 per cent, due to congestion in US west coast ports.
The company ordered thirteen 13,000-TEU ships from Hyundai Heavy Industries and Samsung Heavy Industries.
