DP W0RLD Sydney lifted one million TEU in November, breaking its own annual record, reports London's Port Technology.

The milestone was recorded across 345 vessels, increasing the terminal's year-on-year productivity 10 per cent and year-on-year volume up 15 per cent.
"The impact of the pandemic has placed considerable pressure on global supply chains, yet DP World Australia has continued to provide consistent operational performance, with minor delays to shipping schedules," said DP World Australia CEO Andrew Adam.
"With the conclusion of Enterprise Agreement negotiations 15 months ago, DP World Australia continues to lead the market in productivity and remains committed to our customers and ensuring service reliability for the Australian supply chain. I am proud that DP World Sydney has supported the New South Wales economy by contributing to the handling of a 12.5 per cent increase in volume to date through the container terminals at Port Botany," said Mr Adam.
Said DP World Sydney operations chief Scott Eadie: "Despite a challenging year due to Covid and delays in the global supply chain, DP World Sydney is proud to have passed this significant milestone."
