GLOBAL container line schedule reliability dropped to a new low in January, dropping 0.9 percentage points month-on-month to 30.9 per cent, reports Singapore's Splash 247.
It is the lowest level reported by Sea-Intelligence since it started monitoring schedule reliability in 2011.
Meanwhile, none of the top 14 carriers managed to achieve 50 per cent of schedule reliability across their global network.
The best performers were Maersk with 46.9 per cent and subsidiary Hamburg Sud managing 42.8 per cent.
The next best was Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) averaging between 30 per cent to 40 per cent schedule reliability.
The remaining eight carriers were less than 30 per cent with Evergreen the lowest at 15 per cent in January.
