THREE law enforcement agencies at the Kwinana Bulk Terminal discovered 900 kilos of cocaine on the 57,949-dwt Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carrier St Pinot, reports the Daily Mail Australia.

The drugs, believed to have originated from South America, have an estimated street value of US$375 million.

This seizure was the outcome of a collaborative investigation involving the Australian Federal Police, Australian Border Force, and Western Australia Police.

It marks the third major cocaine confiscation in Western Australia in recent months.

Officers from the Australian Federal Police Border Force, and state police were present during the search of the St Pinot, when they found the contraband.

The St Pinot embarked on its journey from the port of San Lorenzo, Argentina, on April 16.

It made additional stops at Petrobras and La Plata, also located in South America, before arriving in Fremantle five weeks later.
