China now India's biggest trading partner at US$65 billion om 2020

CHINA has emerged as India's largest trade partner, with India imported goods from China hit US$65.21 billion in 2020 to 2021, reports Mumbai's Moneycontrol.

Imports in the previous year hit $65.26 billion, while exports from India to China increased 27.5 per cent to $21.19 billion.
India's import bill from 2020 to 2021 fell 17.1 per cent to $393.60 billion, and exports declined 7.2 per cent to $290.81 billion.
China's share in India's import bill increased 16.6 per cent from 13.7 per cent a year ago, while the share in exports grew 7.3 per cent from 5.3 per cent.
