CEVA Logistics has added cross-border services connecting the EU, Middle East, and Asian markets, reports the American Journal of Transportation.

The company, now a CMA CGM unit, is using its own mega-box trailers and 45 high cube pallet wide (HCPW) containers to offer customers a daily, direct rail connection from Istanbul's Halkali rail terminal to the rail terminal in Duisburg.
The service provides a transit time of six days. CEVA Logistics also recently launched a block train rail solution to connect Vietnam to Europe via China.
The service can also be combined with other multi-modal solutions for customers looking to make efficient connections between locations in Southeast Asia and Europe.
Meanwhile, rail volume growth for CEVA's China-Europe rail solutions doubled in 2021 compared with 2020 as the company operated 135 block trains in 2021 versus 50 in 2020.
"Our commitment to responsive logistics means that we constantly listen to our customers' needs and assess market dynamics," said CEVA Logistics global head of ground Xavier Bour.
"As a result, we continue to offer new, complex logistics solutions along strategic routes that prove to be both effective and efficient. Through our secure global network, from pick-up to delivery, our end-to-end ground solutions give customers better control in a volatile market," Mr Bour said.
