FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has announced a series of changes to terminal handling charges at various ports around the world, reports the American Journal of Transportation.
Effective January 1, and until further notice (January 10 for US trades) Mozambique terminal handling charges at Maputo will go to US$225 per TEU, $410 per FEU, $270 per TEU reefer and $465 per FEU reefer.
From January 1 until further notice (January 10 for US trades) terminal handling charges at Beira will go to $155 per TEU, $135 per FEU, $190 per TEU reefer and $300 per FEU reefer.
From January 1 until further notice (January 10 for US trades) terminal handling charges at Nacala/Pemba will go to $135 per TEU, $240 per FEU, $175 per TEU reefer and $300 per FEU reefer.
From January 1 until further notice (January 10 for US trades) terminal handling charges at Quelimane will go to $115 per TEU, $190 per FEU, $165 per TEU reefer and $230 per FEU reefer.
From January 3 until further notice (January 20 for US trades) terminal handling charges at Cagayan de Oro, Philippines will go to $205 per TEU, $271 per FEU, $238 per TEU reefer and $319 per FEU reefer.
From January 1 until further notice (January 20 for US trades) terminal handling charges in Cambodia will go to $145 per dry container and $215 per reefer.
From January 1 until further notice (January 15 for US trades) Bulgarian terminal handling charges will go to EUR180 (US$203) per TEU, EUR230 per FEU, EUR350 per TEU reefer and EUR400 for FEU reefer. Hazardous material charges will go for EUR270 per TEU and EUR400 per cent FEU hazmat.
Out of gauge material fee will go to EUR216 per OOG TEU and EUR276 per OOG FEU from Varna. Out of gauge material fee will go to EUR270 per OOG TEU, and EUR345 per OOG FEU from Burgas.
